Kramer VP724XL is a high-class presentation scaler/switcher with a composite, component, S-Video and DVI signal scaling for any computer resolution (including UXGA) and video (1080p) that are shown on the left side of the screen.
The device uses interference-free Fade-Thru-Black (FTB) smooth switching technology during which the video signal fades to black and a new signal gradually appears on the screen. The output signal also ensures constant synchronization, which prevents the appearance of distortion and flickering of the image. VP724XL is also characterized by the use of K-Storm scaling technology, which uses great 3:2 and 2:2 pull down de-interlacing.
Thanks to Picture-in-Picture technology, it is possible to display the image of any source next to the image of another source - in any position and size of the window. Thanks to the Split-screen mode it is possible to easily set two images side by side. The VP724XL offers individual adjustment of color, hue, sharpness and contrast parameters for each input. Besides that, there are functions such as Freeze, Zoom (in the range of 100-400%), Mute or Blank (video blanking with blue or black screen).
The user has at its disposal eight video inputs (including DVI-I and VGA), and 15-pin VGA and Euroblock outputs. The dimensions of the Kramer VP724XL switch allow it to be mounted in a 19-inch rack. SQM Rental House fully recommends this scaler/switcher.
