Product description
SQM Multimedia Support recommends the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO - a top of the range production video mixer for live streaming.
The mixer is equipped with an integrated control panel containing buttons for recording, streaming control, audio mixing or video output switching. The mixer allows us to support 4 upstream keys, 2 downstream keys, 2 DVE with border and shadow addition, 5 pattern generators, 2 colour palette generators as well as 4 Chroma and Luma keys. The total number of layers supported by the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO is 9.
The ISO model features automatic generation of a .drp file (DaVinci Resolve) and recording of multiple video streams. Used images from the media pool are saved together with the video files along with the metadata. This makes it easy to re-edit footage with new effects or graphics.
The audio mixer supports 11 two-channel inputs. The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO features "audio follows video" for each channel, as well as separate gain control.
The Blackmagic branded mixer supports streaming directly to e.g. YouTube, Zoom, MS Teams, or Twitch using the (RTMP) protocol via Ethernet or USB-C port. The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO also allows you to connect your iOS or Android phone to the USB-C port and use mobile data, for example, as a backup to your main Ethernet connection.
The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO features 8 HDMI-A inputs supporting up to 1080p60 (10-bit HD, dual-channel embedded audio), 2 HDMI-A outputs, an RJ45 (Ethernet) port supporting 10/100/1000 BaseT, 2 USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports, two 3.5mm audio inputs and a headphone output.
Each of the 8 HDMI inputs is equipped with frame rate and format converters and allows for video input resynchronization.
The Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO is also equipped with a multi-layer SuperSource processor, which allows, for example, to display multiple PiPs with several callers (the effect can be set before broadcasting), thus keeping the main DVE free of other tasks.
