Apart Audio CM4T (now Biamp) is a passive ceiling speaker in white color, which includes a 4-inch transducer with a paper-coated membrane. CM4T-W is designed for 100-volt installations, transformer power taps are 1.5-3-6W, and the nominal impedance value reaches 16 ohms.
CM4T-W is a speaker that reproduces great quality sound in the 90-19000Hz range. The efficiency reaches 88dB (from 1 meter at 1 watt), and the maximum sound pressure level (SPL) is 103dB.
Apart Audio, in the case of 100-volt installations, recommends setting the transformer power tappings to 1.5 and 3 watts during non-challenging operation, e.g. background music. To achieve high SPL, power tapping must be set to 6W.
The classic design of CM4T-W with a steel housing and an aluminum cover is emphasized by IP50 level, which provides protection against dust and increased humidity.
