Product description

The Oculus Quest 2 is an extremely powerful VR set that includes 2 touch controllers and VR goggles that offer a fantastic experience with a combined resolution of 3664x1920 pixels (1832x1920 pixels per eye) at a refresh rate of 90Hz on an IPS LCD panel. The graphics capabilities allow the VR goggles to be used for a wide range of purposes - from multiplayer games to standard interactive applications and 360° videos.

The kit also includes a spacer insert, a USB-C - USB-C cable with charger (and adapter for European sockets), and two AA batteries to power the touch controllers (average controller runtime on one AA battery is ~30 hours).

The Oculus Quest 2 VR goggles have a built-in 128GB storage and 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The heart of the goggles is a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 SoC chipset (1 x 2.84GHz Kryo 585; 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 585; 4 x 1.8GHz Kryo 585 and an Adreno 650 GPU). The headset features a 3640mAh (14Wh) lithium-ion battery, which allows an average of 2 to 3 hours of interaction on a single charge. Charging time (10W; 5V, 2A) is approximately 2.5 hours on average.

The goggles are equipped with sensors such as an accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope. Built-in connectors include a 3.5-millimeter jack for headphones and a USB Type-C port. The goggles also support Interpupillary distance (IPD) of 58mm, 63mm and 68mm.
Gameplay is controlled via dedicated touch controllers or via VR Hand Tracking, where the goggles' cameras are used to detect hand position and orientation. Touch controllers are also used to designate the game area and activate the system that secures the designated area. The maximum supported area that can be mapped is about 20x20m.

Built-in speakers supporting 3D cinematic sound processing and a built-in microphone are responsible for sound. The Oculus Quest 2 goggles also offer the function of streaming video from the goggles to a compatible monitor or device with the Oculus mobile app.
The minimum hardware requirements for the Oculus Quest 2 VR set are a processor better than or equal to an Intel i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X unit, at least 8GB of RAM, Windows 10 operating system and USB 3.0 support.
