Product description
The Audac COM24MK2 is a five-zone, 240W class-D amplifier.
On the front panel of the amplifier, knobs are provided to control the level for each input and the overall volume of the output. A two-band tone control is provided for the main output to adjust the overall frequency response of the system. The level is indicated by a 5-segment bar. Meanwhile, zone (output) switches allow individual speaker outputs to be turned on/off.
The rear panel of the Audac COM24MK2 amplifier is rich in a number of connectors.
The 2-pin output on the Euroblock connector is designed for low-impedance audio systems, while the 10-pin Euroblock output is suitable for fixed-voltage (100/70/25V) systems.
The 6.3-millimeter jacks use a pre-amp input/output for connecting external equalizers and effects processors, as well as a link input/output designed for system expansion with additional amplifiers.
The amplifier also uses symmetrical line/microphone inputs - for channels 1 and 2 on combo TRS/XLR connectors, and for channels 3 and 4 on 3-pin XLR connectors.
For channels five and six, asymmetrical stereo line inputs on RCA ports and symmetrical microphone inputs on 6.3-millimeter jacks are used.
In addition, there are three sets of Euroblock ports on the rear panel - a 4-pin one for the remote microphone, a 5-pin one for tele-paging, and a 3-pin one for the Music on Hold function. Rear knobs are used to control the gain of each channel.
