The Hollyland COSMO C1 set is a professional wireless video transmission system designed to facilitate real-time transmission of 1080p video signals. It is widely used in various industries such as broadcasting, live events, film and sports production. The COSMO C1 set is based on a transmitter and receiver unit that work together to establish a reliable and stable wireless connection.
The transmitter unit is equipped with HDMI, SDI input and SDI loop ports, allowing it to receive video signals from a wide range of devices such as cameras, monitors and switchers. It supports multiple video formats, including 1080p. The transmitter uses advanced encoding technology to compress video signals while maintaining excellent image quality and ultra-low latency.
The receiver unit features HDMI and SDI output connectors for seamless integration with displays, recorders, and other video equipment. It can receive compressed video signals wirelessly from the transmitter using a robust wireless transmission protocol. The receiver unit uses sophisticated decoding algorithms to decompress the video signals and deliver them in real time with latency as low as 0.04 s. The HEVO system, based on a protocol developed by Hollyland, improves encoding performance by 30% with H.265 (HEVC).
The Hollyland COSMO C1 set operates in the 5 GHz frequency band and uses multiple antennas and adaptive frequency hopping techniques to ensure stable and interference-free transmission. It supports a maximum transmission range of up to ~305 meters in open areas, providing flexibility and freedom of movement for the cameraman or crew.
