Product description

The Kiloview N60 is an all-new, full-featured converter supporting the NDI standard. Utilising advanced FPGA technology and advanced AVC/HEVC and NDI algorithms, the device allows 4Kp60 signals to be encoded using NDI HB, NDI HX and SRT, and decoded using NDI HB and NDI HX. As a result, it meets all expectations and demands for IP-based video transmission.

The N60 supports the professional YCbCr 4:2:2 colour space and 10-bit colour depth (the popular 8-bit colour depth is also available). This guarantees higher image and colour quality, particularly important in the broadcast and medical industries where colour accuracy is crucial.

With ultra-low latency, the Kiloview N60 is a powerful bi-directional tool, enabling 4K video transmission over IP with minimal latency. The hardware supports the conversion of 4K HDMI video into NDI and NDI|HX streams, decoding of NDI and NDI|HX streams into HDMI format and support for Loop out functionality for viewing on a monitor or projector.

The N60 features a large colour LCD screen and an intuitive control dial for easy customisation, navigation and video source management. In addition, there is a built-in small dial on the rear of the unit for status display. The converter supports an extended USB audio interface, enabling comprehensive real-time intercom between Kiloview device operators and associated Kiloview Intercom System (KIS) groups.

The unit provides PTZ camera control via a USB interface to RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 serial ports. In addition, it also supports network control protocols, such as Sony Visca/PELCO-D/PELCO-P, for external PTZ camera control. The equipment has two Ethernet interfaces, one of which supports PoE (IEEE 802.3AT) power, allowing easy connection to power and network transmission via a single cable. Additionally, it supports DC 12V power, allowing the unit to be powered from a portable charger or camera battery.

With the ability to record NDI encoded video directly to a TF card (microSD), the N60 provides memory expansion, protecting recordings from video frame loss due to latency or network interruptions. Supports MOV format for local recording. *Free future update will be available soon.
