ULTRA-DI DI20 is a multifunctional, two-channel Direct Box with the splitter function of the German brand Behringer. The main function of the device is signal symmetrization.
The active DI-Box converts the signal from two independent jack line inputs (ø6.3mm) to two balanced XLR (three-pin) outputs.
DI20 is equipped with four switches - the first from the left is responsible for signal attenuation (0/20/40 decibels), so it is possible to match the signal to the input.
The next switcher determines the DI20's operating mode - in 2-CH mode the user can connect two independent signals, while in LINK mode DI-Box works in the form of a splitter. In this case, the signal from the first channel can be provided as two signals on the balanced XLR outputs and as an unbalanced signal on the CH.1 OUT channel.
The third switch is used to cut the ground (LIFT/GND), and the last one activates the battery power supply (9V). For phantom power, the switch should be set to OFF mode.
The compact DI-Box is housed in a durable metal housing. Behringer ULTRA-DI DI20 is available at the SQM Multimedia Support rental.
