Product description

The Leap Motion Controller is a precise Ultraleap gesture sensor that effectively detects motion in a three-dimensional area. The controller is equipped with cameras and an IR light sensor that tracks the millimeter-accurate movements of all fingers and reproduce them on the screen in a surprisingly fast time, thanks to which the user can interact with AI in a comfortable and intuitive way.

The Leap Motion gesture sensor has a 135-degree field of view (150° wide and 120° deep) and supports a maximum of 120 frames per second. To enjoy Leap Motion on the computer screen, a couple of hardware parameters are required, which are listed on the left.

The controller also offers VR entertainment - the sensor works on Orion software, whose technology is characterized by high accuracy in tracking gestures. It is worth mentioning that in order to use Leap Motion in the virtual world, you must have the Windows 7 or newer operating system, equivalent to the Intel Core i5-4590 processor, 8 (or more) gigabytes of RAM, the NVIDIA GTX 970 (or AMD R9 290) graphics processing unit and three USB 3.0 ports.

A big plus of Leap Motion is the active programmers' community, software development kits in six programming languages and the ability to synchronize the device with HTC Vive, Oculus goggles, and the Arduino platform.
