Product description
Sony PXW-X70 is a mini camcorder with a 1.0 Exmor R CMOS sensor with high resolution and sensitivity (14.2 million effective pixels), which offers recording in XAVC 4K (100 Mb/s) as well as MPEG HD420 and MPEG HD422. It is also possible to record in XAVC HD, AVCHD, and DV formats.
The camcorder offers QoS Streaming or direct streaming via Ustream (in software Version 3.0), as well as the use of Wi-Fi/NFC technology.
The PXW-X70 has a great Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T* lens with 12x optical zoom which can be raised up to 24x (via Clear Image Zoom technology) while maintaining simultaneous high resolution thanks to Super Resolution Technology. Additionally, the zoom can be increased up to 48x by the usage of Digital Extender technology.
The Sony PXW-X70 is a perfect example of the perfect balance between great image quality, advanced features and small dimensions - the body itself weighs less than a kilogram, and after attaching accessories - less than 1.5 kg. The camcorder has HDMI, SDI output connectors on the BNC connector, Micro USB port, audio input on the three-pin XLR connector and two slots for SD memory card. The whole is completed by an intuitive manual lens ring, palm grip with zoom lever, switchable ND filter, and simultaneous recording mode.
