Product description
MAILA L is the largest ground-stack stereo system in the MAILA family, offering maximum power and punch for medium-sized live sound applications, clubs and corporate events where overhead installation is not possible.
This ground-stack system sets new standards for flexibility. With 15 kW of power, MAILA L combines various advanced acoustic technologies: a bandpass subwoofer with cardioid function, a column module with integrated DSP amplifier and coaxial satellites with line array function.
The MAILA L is based on four 2x15’ 2.5 kW subwoofers (MAILA SUB) with a state-of-the-art DSP SysCore processor, which deliver powerful, solid bass. Above the subwoofers is the MAILA COL speaker module, containing four 6.5’ woofers, a 4-channel DSP amplifier (2.5 kW) with SysCore DSP and a wireless power system for the MAILA SAT satellites mounted with SmartLink+ rails.
Six MAILA SAT satellites are mounted on each COL module, housed in sleek aluminium unibody enclosures. Thanks to Advanced WaveAhead technology, each satellite has five 1‘ tweeters positioned in front of a 6.5’ midrange driver, which, combined with SonicGuide, provides clean sound without distortion. The integrated passive diaphragm allows the range to be extended to 100 Hz, providing a classic linear dispersion pattern with excellent sound coverage.
The innovative swivel mount with EasySplay mechanism on each MAILA SAT satellite allows quick and easy adjustment of the tilt angle from 0° to 8°, even with one hand, providing flexibility.
MAILA L is a scalable sound system that sets new standards for diversity and flexibility. The MAILA COL module can support up to eight MAILA SAT satellites, and the system can be configured into a variety of layouts, adapting it to medium-sized festival stages, clubs, conferences and lectures.
The MAILA system can be easily configured via the MAILA app (iPadOS) or directly on the device. The integrated LogoLink wireless connection provides a reliable range of up to 30 metres. The app automatically recognises MAILA components, making it easy to set up the system quickly, including setting SAT angles.
LD Systems with MAILA presents a new sound reinforcement concept, enabling users to use one system in multiple configurations.
