Sennheiser EW-D 835-S S1-7 is a wireless digital set featuring EW-D EM rackmount receiver and EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter with MMD 835 dynamic microphone capsule. The set operates in the frequency range from 606.2 to 662 MHz.
The Evolution Wireless Digital has an equidistant tuning grid and features the use of high-quality components with excellent linearity to eliminate intermodulation between the EW-D transmitters, thus allowing for equal frequency spacing every 600 kHz.
The kit also features an extended 56MHz tuning bandwidth and scalability to 90 channels. The 134dB dynamic range of the audio input means that no sensitivity adjustment is required, plus every detail is preserved. The SKM-S transmitter is designed for ultra-low latency - so even when working with multiple devices in the signal chain, the sound is incredibly natural.
The Sennheiser EW-D EM receiver features a balanced audio output on a three-pin XLR connector and an unbalanced audio output on a 6.3-millimeter jack. The EW-D 835-S S1-7 kit can be controlled via Bluetooth and the Sennheiser Smart Assist app. The microphone transmitter is powered by 2 AA batteries.
