Product description
The Sennheiser EW-DX 835-S S1-10 is a wireless digital set that consists of an EW-DX EM 2 rack receiver and two EW-DX SKM-S handheld transmitters with two MMD 835 dynamic microphone capsules. The entire set operates in the frequency range from 606.2 to 693.8 MHz (S1-10).
The EWD system has an equidistant tuning grid, and is known for its use of high-quality components and excellent linearity to eliminate intermodulation between transmitters. As a result, equal frequency spacing is possible every 600 kHz (for 146 channels) and 300 kHz (LD link density mode for up to 293 channels).
The kit offers an extended switching bandwidth of up to 88MHz. The EW-DX SKM-S transmitter is designed for ultra-low latency, so that even with multiple devices in the signal chain, the sound remains natural. Input dynamic range is 134 dB - thanks to the proprietary Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec, no gain adjustment is required on wireless transmitters.
The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 receiver is equipped with two symmetrical outputs (3-pin XLR) and 2 unbalanced audio outputs (on 6.3-millimeter jacks). There is also an RJ45 (Ethernet IEEE802.3) port that supports PoE. Meanwhile, a headphone connector (6.3-millimeter jack) is located on the device's front panel.
The EW-DX 835-S S1-10 headset can be controlled via Bluetooth using the Sennheiser Smart Assist app. With the included two BA 70 lithium-ion batteries, the headset can operate wirelessly for up to 12 hours.
