The Sennheiser EW-D SK BASE SET R1-6 is a wireless digital set consisting of the EW-D EM rack receiver and the EW-D SK bodypack handheld transmitter. The set operates in the frequency range from 520 to 576 MHz and is suitable for use with a wide range of EWD series microphones.
Sennheiser's EWD system is known for having an equidistant tuning grid, using high-quality components and excellent linearity, which eliminates intermodulation between transmitters and makes equal frequency spacing (every 600 kHz) possible.
The EW-D SK kit guarantees an extended 56MHz tuning bandwidth and scalability of up to 90 channels. The audio input dynamic range of 134dB eliminates the need for sensitivity adjustments while preserving each detail.
The EW-D EM receiver is equipped with a symmetrical output (XLR) and an unbalanced audio output (6.3-millimeter jack).
The EW-D SK BASE SET R1-6 can also be controlled via Bluetooth using the dedicated Sennheiser Smart Assist app. The EW-D SK bodypack transmitter is powered by both 2 AA batteries and a BA 70 rechargeable battery.
