The Sennheiser EW-D ME3 is an all-in-one wireless digital set that operates in the S1-7 frequency range (606.2 - 662 MHz) and consists of an EW-D EM rack-mount receiver, an EW-D SK bodypack transmitter and an ME 3 condenser headset microphone.
The EWD system features an equidistant tuning grid and is valued for its use of high quality components with excellent linearity to eliminate intermodulation between transmitters. The result is equal frequency spacing every 600 kHz. The kit offers scalability up to 90 channels and an extended tuning bandwidth of 56 MHz. The 134 dB dynamic range of the audio input eliminates the need for sensitivity adjustment and preserves every detail.
The ME 3 capacitive headset microphone with cardioid characteristic operates from 50 to 18,000 Hz, offers a maximum SPL of 150 dB and is supplied with a 3.5 mm jack plug and approx. 1.6 m cable.
The Sennheiser EW-D EM receiver has a balanced XLR output and an unbalanced audio output on a 6.3 mm jack. The EW-D ME3 S1-7 set can be controlled via Bluetooth and the Sennheiser Smart Assist app. The EW-D SK bodypack transmitter is powered by 2 AA batteries.
