Product description
The Sennheiser EW-D 835-S R4-9 is a digital wireless set that consists of an EW-D EM rackmount receiver, an EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter and an MMD 835 dynamic microphone capsule. The R4-9 set operates in the frequency range from 552 to 607.8 MHz.
EWD systems feature an equidistant tuning grid, and are known for using high-quality components with excellent linearity to eliminate intermodulation between transmitters. As a result, equal frequency spacing every 600 kHz is possible.
The kit offers an extended 56MHz tuning bandwidth, as well as scalability to 90 channels. Thanks to the 134dB dynamic range of the audio input, no sensitivity adjustment is required, plus every detail is preserved. The SKM-S transmitter, meanwhile, is designed with ultra-low latency in mind, so that even when operating multiple devices in the signal chain, the sound remains natural.
The Sennheiser EW-D EM receiver features a balanced output (XLR 3-pin) and an unbalanced audio output (on a 6.3-millimeter jack). The EW-D 835-S R4-9 headset can be controlled via Bluetooth using the Sennheiser Smart Assist app.
