Product description
The Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G is professional audio and video monitoring equipment that features two, 3-inch woofers and two, 1.5-inch tweeters supported by a Class D amplifier.
For flawless audio monitoring, 2 balanced XLR inputs, a balanced AES/EBU input (XLR, 110Ω), 2 RCA HiFi inputs, and a 6.5mm headphone jack located at front-panel are available.
Precise measurements can be taken thanks to two segments with sound level meters in the form of 54 RGB LEDs - you can choose between VU, PPM EBU, PPM BBC, and Loudness. All this over a very wide dynamic range - it all depends on the scale you choose.
The Audio Monitor 12G also offers video monitoring via its HDMI 2.0 output, allowing you to serve 2160p60 resolution video to an external screen or projector while simultaneously monitoring any of the 16 audio channels via the 12G-SDI input on a BNC connector. You can easily change the source, channel selection, and volume control using the buttons on the front panel of the unit. The built-in LCD screen offers a video preview with information about the source, video format, and audio channels currently being monitored.
The rear panel also features an SDI Video Loop output with a re-clocking function and an Ethernet port (RJ45, 1 Gbps) for configuration and software updates, which is also possible via a USB Type-C port.
Compact yet solidly built, the Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G fits perfectly into a rack slot (1U). It is powered by mains electricity (110 - 240V AC).
Available from SQM Rental House, the Audio Monitor 12G is great for audio/video monitoring during live broadcast, post-production, audio studios, and in broadcast trucks.
