Product description
The Pulse 4K is a ten-channel video mixer from French brand Analog Way. The multi-layer mixer supports 4K resolution (4096x2160 pixels) with 60Hz refresh rate, 10-bit 4:4:4 sampling (along with low latency of just 16ms for 60Hz), and supports HDR10 as well as HLG.
Analog Way Pulse 4K is equipped with 8 4K60 inputs - 4 HDMI 2.0 ports, 2 DisplayPort 1.2 ports and 2 3G/6G/12G-SDI ports - and 2 user-selectable 2K60 inputs - 2 HDMI 1.4 or 3G-SDI connectors. The mixer also features two HDMI 2.0 outputs supporting 4K60 with mirrored 12G-SDI connectors (configurable as two independent program outputs) and MultiView ports for monitoring Program/Preview output as well as input sources. The mixer is intuitively controlled from the front panel position, although it is also possible to control using the RCS Web interface, or via Ethernet (neutrik etherCON).
The versatile Pulse 4K mixer from the reliable Midra 4K series offers a range of features - including streaming from any output or input over IP, Chroma and Lum keying, audio on/off switching on each input and output, or the ability to configure custom output formats. Quick Preset, meanwhile, makes it possible to dim the image, display a selected image from internal memory, and save as well as restore selected settings. The PLS-4K also allows you to use the Area of Interest function, which allows you to cut out a snippet of the displayed material and continue working only on that selected part.
The mixer further offers such modes as Mixer:
- one PGM output with 4K60 support and one live background,
- two 4K mix layers or four split layers,
- one 4K foreground layer.
Or Matrix mode:
- two PGM outputs with 4K60 support and one live background,
- one 4K mixing layer or two split layers,
- one 4K foreground layer on each output.
