Product description
Novastar CVT4K-S is a professional fiber converter available for rent from SQM Rental House.
With photoelectric signal conversion, the CVT4K-S converter allows transmission over both optical fiber and twisted-pair cable. This allows for long-distance signal transmission that is stable and not affected by interference.
The converter is equipped with 16 Neutrik etherCON type outputs, as well as 4 single-mode LC fiber optic connectors, providing transmission speeds from 9.95 to 11.3 Gbps and a range of up to 10 km. The OPT1 (Master)/OPT3 (Backup) port is corresponding to Ethernet ports 1-8, and the OPT2 (Master)/OPT4 (Backup) port is corresponding to ports 9-16. A single Ethernet port is used to connect to a realization computer, and a USB Type B port is used to cascade the converters (as well as to connect to a computer).
The CVT4K-S converter can be powered by both the 3-pin power socket and the powerCON port.
