Product description

Novastar MX30 is a versatile all-in-one LED controller equipped with COEX control system. The controller has a wide range of signal inputs - HDMI 1.4 and 2.0, DisplayPort 1.1 and 3G-SDI - as well as 10 neutrik etherCON Gigabit outputs, as well as two 10G fiber outputs.

The maximum input resolution supported by the Novastar MX30 controller is 4096x2160 pixels at 60Hz for HDMI 2.0 input (the minimum resolution is 800x600 pixels). The maximum width is 8192 pixels (with a height of 1080 pixels) and the maximum height is 7680 pixels (with a width of 1080 pixels). For the HDMI 2.0 input, a frame rate of 23.98 to 240 Hz is supported, as well as HDR10, SMPTE ST 2084, SMPTE ST 2086 and HLG standards.

The HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.1 inputs support resolutions of 4096x1080 pixels at 60Hz (the minimum is also 800x600 pixels), supporting frame rates also in the range of 23.98 - 240 Hz. For the 3G-SDI connector, the maximum resolution is 1920x1080 pixels (60 Hz), and the supported frequency is in the range of 23.98 - 60 Hz. The port is compatible with ST-424, ST-292 and ST-259 standards.

For loop ports (HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and 3G-SDI), it is possible to connect up to 8 devices (per loop). The Genlock connector supports Bi-Level and Tri-Level signals, allowing cascading of up to 20 MX30 devices.

The capacity for all 10 Gigabit ports is 6.5 million pixels, while each port offers a maximum capacity of 659 722 pixels for 8-bit color depth (60Hz), or 329 861 pixels for 10-bit and 60Hz (494 791 pixels at 10-bit and 60Hz using the A10s Pro card). A full list of capacities for the ports at the selected frame rate is available in the attachment.

The front panel of the Novastar MX30 controller features a USB-A 2.0 port for diagnosis, a control knob and a 3.5-inch screen displaying key information for basic configuration of the device.
