Product description
The Pixelhue Q8 is an advanced presentation switcher designed for real-time 4K and 8K video processing in live event environments. It is built to handle complex signal workflows while maintaining high stability and reliability.
The Q8 offers up to 72 4K inputs and 48 4K outputs, supporting 48 concurrent 4K inputs and 16 concurrent 4K outputs. In switcher mode, it provides up to 32 4K mixing layers, while PGM-only mode allows up to 64 single 4K layers.
Its VPU-based architecture increases layer capacity on output cards, enabling advanced multi-layer configurations. The Q8 supports long-distance signal transmission of up to 10 km via single-mode optical fiber without the need for additional converters, simplifying system design and reducing costs.
Control is handled via the U5 / U5 Pro event controllers and the PixelFlow software, which features an intuitive graphical user interface and customizable button skins. Full-link backup ensures high reliability and uninterrupted operation during live productions.
